Vintage Boombox take songs from the ’80s to Now, strip them down to Double Bass, Piano, Drums and Powerhouse Vocals and add a dash of Latin, Jazz, Blues and Soul!! Featuring members of The Late Late Show House band & the Stars of the Commitments touring band amongst others

We can play in the corner of a room with mellow tunes or fill the main stage with 2 hours of high energy!

Vintage Boombox was created to be different, playing modern songs you already know in a unique old-fashioned style. We didn’t want to play old Jazz Standards that nobody knew to an understandably indifferent audience – We aim to entertain, and give your guests something they truly haven’t heard or seen before.

The band have a huge experience in playing Corporate, Weddings, bars and events with decades of experience between all 4 members as full-time Musicians.

While developing the idea for Vintage Boombox, Drummer Ray and bass-player Cormac (Full-time members of the Late Late Show House-band) were blown away by Sandra (vocals) performing as a soloist live on the TV show one night. After adding Newpark Jazz Degree Graduate Mark on Piano, the band started gigging regularly around Dublin in 2018.

Wedding Services:

Vintage Boombox – Drinks Reception  –

We’ll bring our Powerhouse Quartet of Vocals, Suitcase Drumset, Double Bass and Piano will play a 2- hour set of Modern Classics as you’ve never heard them before.

We are a very small footprint for a quartet and will play to the audience, creating the perfect background vibe or getting people dancing, depending on the crowd and atmosphere.

Wedding Main Receptions

For Main Receptions, we can play as our standard quartet and play a 2-hour setlist of upbeat, all-dancing modern classics and wedding classics & we can add a Guitar Player or Sax Player to the lineup if you want some extra power! Setlist at the end of this document

DJ Service

A member of the band will DJ and take requests until the early hours.

Your Ceremony

Sandra and Mark our Singer and Piano player have lots of experience playing ceremonies if you book Vintage Boombox for your Drinks Reception or Main Event.

Booking is by pre-paid deposit with a signed booking form for your peace of Mind.
